On Sunday Sushila Karki, Nepal’s former Chief Justice was sworn in as Nepal’s interim Prime Minister following the collapse of Nepal’s government and the ousting of PM KP Sharma Oli, who was widely regarded as corrupt, in student-led protests last week. The protests spiralled into rioting with the parliament building, Supreme Court and ministers' houses set on fire. The government took less than 48 hours to collapse.
