John Pienaar was joined by Martin Crook, Relationship Director at Barclays Corporate Banking, and Simon Tucker, CEO of SRT Marine Systems, for the final Times Radio feature with Barclays Corporate Banking.
The discussion explored the findings of Barclays’ Business Prosperity Survey, which showed that nearly half of UK business leaders view the current economic environment as positive for long-term growth, and nine in ten remain confident in their own business performance.
Crook highlighted that strong physical and digital infrastructure is a key driver of growth for many firms, while Tucker shared how SRT Marine Systems has invested in AI research, software development, and staff up-skilling to improve global maritime surveillance technology.
Tucker noted that Barclays’ support and infrastructure investment have enabled his company to scale innovation and deliver advanced solutions worldwide.
