15:48Now PlayingTim Pool covers the shocking events in Ceuta, a Spanish city located in North Africa next to Morocco. Tens of thousands of people, around 50,000, have stormed across the border into Ceuta in a short time. Tim calls this an act of war and a planned invasion. Ceuta is a small autonomous Spanish territory that has been under Spanish control for nearly 500 years. It sits on the Strait of Gibraltar and has a population of about 80,000. Suddenly being overwhelmed by such a large group changes everything for the local area. Spain has started mobilizing its military in response. Officials say they will speed up deportation papers for the people who crossed. However, Tim doubts that much will actually change. He points out that European governments have struggled for years to control mass migration.
