Welcome to America Stands 2020 Election Coverage in a spirit of faith! This year, 2020, is an important election year in which we’ll elect the next president of the United States. In this episode of America Stands, hosts Greg Stephens, Dr. Gene Bailey, Konni Burton, and David Barton discuss the current state of affairs, as we are only a little over a month away from the 2020 election.
During this broadcast, the hosts correspond with VICTORY news reporter, Mike Garofalo, at the Supreme Court in Washington D.C. as they discuss the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and filling the vacancy left by her passing. David Barton shares the history of the Supreme Court and the process of electing Supreme Court Judges. Lance Wallnau joins our hosts to discuss Supreme Court Judge nominees and he and David Barton make their predictions.
Additionally, in this episode, guest host, Konni Burton shares about her statewide political news organization, The Texan. She is the founder and CEO of the organization as well as a former state Senator. Konni discusses with our hosts the importance of delivering news the way it was originally intended, unbiased, and how much mainstream media has changed over the years. The hosts further discuss the Supreme Court along with religious liberties with their guest who is Special Counsel for Litigation and Communications for First Liberty Institute. First Liberty Institute is the largest organization in the United States dedicated to the preservation of religious liberties here in America.
