China's slowing economy could soon become a major talking point for U.S. companies. While a little less than 8% of revenue for S&P 500 companies comes from China, the companies that move the market the most do a lot of business there. As China’s yuan currency has weakened to its lowest value on record, U.S.-China tensions have risen and economic growth has slowed.

I take a look at three big reasons American companies are going to be talking a lot more about Beijing as the third quarter earnings season starts to heat up.

I’m Dion Rabouin, a WSJ reporter covering markets and the economy. I’ll be diving into all things finance, from the popular and well-known — like crypto and stocks — to the complex and intricate — like leveraged loans, derivatives and private equity. Subscribe to join me as I take a deep dive into what’s making money move and why it matters.
