5:28Now PlayingIs the motto "Fall into the Gap" a tragic double entendre for garment workers who make Gap's clothing in sub-human conditions? Garrett Strain of United Students Against Sweatshops (@USAS) talks with Executive Producer Daniel Marans about preventing another catastrophe like the recent Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh. Garrett explains how USAS and other groups are holding the multi-national corporations that sell clothing to us accountable for conditions in their suppliers' factories. They are focusing on Gap, even though there is no evidence that Rana Plaza supplied Gap with clothing, because Gap markets itself as a socially conscious company and has scuttled safety enforcement agreements in the past.
