2:37Now PlayingCNN is often mocked for their low ratings relative to Fox News and MSNBC. But a new bill sponsored by Senator John McCain, "The Television Consumer Freedom Act," could change all that. If consumers can buy channels a la carte rather than as a package, some surveys suggest they would buy CNN to have for the few nights when they watch the news--but not other channels. So even if Wolf Blitzer's new black glasses frames don't dazzle you and you're still over Soledad O'Brien's departure, CNN may not need you to like them. CNN may be sitting pretty after all. And they'll have John McCain to thank for it.
