3:25Now PlayingI recorded this (rough!) demo for a topical Xmas song about 20 years ago. It's got some mistakes, especially with my weird stops and starts, but you'll get the gist. I played the guitars but everyone else was a busy LA studio player and didn't have time to iron out the kinks. (The "Burning Surfboards" is just a name I made up...)
I was going for a Beach Boys type of sound until the producer overdubbed those great & soulful backup vocals, but I still mixed it to sound as if it's coming out of a transistor radio in 1966. The images are mostly AI with a few news photos thrown in.
