“There’s just been such a positive response from so many people,” Tetteh says. “It’s been nice to get that kind of support and that praise for doing something that I knew was right.”
Tetteh, who’s attending Harvard in the fall, announced her decision during her now-viral graduation speech.
She says that her parents were proud of her decision and that she comes from a family of givers.
