According to Republican Senator Ron Johnson, “We should be accurately describing what happened here and the fact of that matter is those tens of thousands of people that didn’t reach the capital. They were jovial. They were serious. They want to put pressure on people like me to vote a particular way. Which was not the way I was going to vote or did vote. But I respect their first Amendment Right.”
