Hill says,” I was in New York crossing the George Washington bridge. I will never forget that moment when I first heard he had died. But it was on June 25, 2009 when we lost the King of Pop.”
Reed remembers being in Ohio, “I was an anchor in Cleveland when the news crossed. But remember Mike, there had been so many rumors and outlandish things said about MJ along the way. A. Shock B. Confirmation came so quickly and it might have been TMZ that had it first. I remember the impact and I was sitting next to someone who didn’t get it.”
The hosts began discussing the impact of his death, and how people just needed to sit and talk about how his artistry impacted the world. They confessed that there has never been another entertainer universally revered like Michael Jackson.
