Jessamyn Stanley is a phenomenal woman who is changing the face of yoga through messages of body positivity.
She is also the author of "Every Body Yoga" and now her highly anticipated second book, "Yoke: My Yoga of Self-Acceptance," is out now. The yoga teacher, advocate, and author joins "Start Your Day" with Sharon Reed and Shannon LaNier to discuss her new book and her advocacy. She says the title of her new book is inspired by the process yoga takes her on to address both the positive and negative parts of herself. In terms of body positivity, Stanley says as a "fat Black woman" she wants to inspire people to love themselves as they are without feeling the need to change.
