Cole's brother, Sam, told TMZ that his mother took drugs while she was celebrating her birthday. Lons' battle with drug addiction was well documented on reality TV, appearing on BET's Keyshia Cole My New Life and starring in Frankie & Neffie.
"Worse pain ever....to see my mama in a body bag on her birthday," Elite Noel, Cole's sister, shared on Instagram.
