He said that the Department of Labor is developing an emergency rule to require all employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or receives negative test results once a week. They will also require those employers to give workers paid time off to get vaccinated.
The president will expand vaccination requirements for people who work in hospitals and other medical facilities.
Biden will sign an executive order that will require all federal employees to be vaccinated.
Almost 300,000 educators in the Federal Head Start Program must be vaccinated.
