Hill urges unvaccinated players to think about their own safety as well as the safety of others.
“So, I implore people to do this and protect their safety and the safety of others,” Hill stated.
The former NBA superstar also spoke on his organization Start Strong, which seeks to educate Black men on the importance of early detection of prostate cancer.
“One in seven African American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime,” Hill stated. “So these numbers are staggering, and a lot of this can be prevented. If detected early, prostate cancer can be treated easily.”
