7:02Now PlayingDr. Carole Lieberman, who is a forensic psychiatrist and co-author of “Missing Without a Trace,” joins Tashanea Whitlow on “BNC Live” to discuss why the Miya Marcano story hasn’t gotten enough coverage in contrast to Gabby Petito.
“It seems to be that when there is especially a pretty white woman, a pretty white young woman, who has gone missing, there does seem to be more coverage than women or people of color,” Lieberman said. “We don’t hear as much about people of color then as somebody who looks like Barbie.”
