5:26Now PlayingAs part of President Biden's new infrastructure bill, funding for historically Black colleges and universities are now on the chopping block. Before taking office, President Biden vowed to end racial disparities in areas that have kept Black Americans at a disadvantage. One of his proposals was increasing funding for HBCUs. Now, the Biden administration is looking to cut funding for HBCUs by nearly $30 billion.
Howard University alum and founder of the Mogul Group, Inga Willis, joins “BNC Live” with Tashanea Whitlow to discuss her experience with her HBCU, and she works to propel her fellow graduates in the working world. She also speaks on how her exposure to HBCU life at a young age from relatives made her choice an easy one.
