5:45Now PlayingMonths after suing Georgia over its new election laws, the Department of Justice is “seriously and urgently” investigating how states are changing voting procedures and their redistricting practices.
Chris Bruce, political director at ALCU of Georgia, joins BNC’s Kelly Wright to discuss the investigation. He says this is “our last resource” before they get some kind of legislation on the federal level to protect all Americans’ right to vote. While Bruce does agree it should’ve been done earlier, he says he applauds the justice department’s efforts.
