Marc Lamont Hill brings his highly anticipated opinions to “Black News Tonight,” as he highlights all the latest in the Digital Streets, including Nicki Minaj defending wrong behavior, again.
Minaj has placed herself in the hot seat for defending Little Mix band member Jesy Nelson, who’s been called out multiple times for “Blackfishing.” Hill says while Minaj hasn’t “found a bad argument that she don’t love,” she’s partially right in her stance that people praise the Kardashians but cancel others for doing the same. Two wrongs don’t make it right though, Hill says.
NBA star Kyrie Irving is barred from all Brooklyn Nets and NBA activities until he gets vaccinated, or until he receives an exemption, a consequence that could cost him millions of dollars if not resolved. Hill notes that Irving’s actions aren’t a sacrifice, just a dumb choice he’s entitled to.
All this and more on “Black News Tonight.”
