5:41Now PlayingDecade after decade the Black community has been underrepresented in the census, and it's happening again in 2020. Two new reports have come out, saying African Americans may have been undercounted at a higher rate than usual, possibly three times as high as 2010. The jury is still out on the accuracy of the analysis but if proven to be true, this count could have a major impact on funding provided to the community. This would affect benefits like Medicare, SNAP, Section 8 vouchers, and Head Start.
