2:46Now Playing“BNC Live” host Tashanea Whitlow says jury selection is “slowing down” the trial for the three men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery.
The judge in the case is growing frustrated as prosecutors and defense attorneys try to scale down a group of 600 potential jurors to only 16 who are seen as “fair and impartial.” Arbery was running through a Georgia neighborhood in Feb. 2020 when the suspects chased him down and shot him to death, which was captured on camera. The potential jurors have had to answer several questions, including whether or not they believe the Confederate flag symbolizes hate. BNC’s Dray Clark is speaking with the Brunswick, GA community about the case.
