2:15Now PlayingDemonstrations continue on Howard University's campus over unfit student housing conditions.
Today was the 18th day of the occupation of the Blackburn University Center where students have staged a sit-in over what can only be described as deplorable living conditions for some students.
Many have vowed not to leave until their demands are met and living conditions are improved. Their demands include an in-person town hall with President Wayne A. I. Frederick and administration before Oct. 31, reinstatement of all affiliate positions, including student roles, to the board of trustees and a meeting with the president and chairman of the board to go over their housing plan.
BNC’s Candice Cole joins Najahe Sherman from Howard University to discuss the latest.
