Some children in Connecticut and Texas received their first dose Tuesday night following emergency authorization from the Food and Drug Administration then the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There are about 28 million kids now eligible for the vaccine, which is only 1/3 the dose adult's intake but still a two-step process. Possible side effects include arm soreness, fever and fatigue and headaches.
