There are 11 white jurors and only one Black juror serving on this 12-person jury for a trial taking place in a county made up of almost 70% whites.
The judge admitted there was intentional discrimination used during the process of striking jurors, but still signed off on the final slate of jurors, despite the objections made by the prosecution.
