Now, the attempt has been denied by a federal judge and documents may be released as early as Friday. BNC correspondent Bofta Yimam joins "Start Your Day" to discuss the details. U.S. district judge Tanya Chutkan pointed out Congress has a strong public interest in the records since it could shed light on the insurrection. The judge said President Joe Biden, as the current president, has the authority to waive executive privilege.
