After months of negotiations and disagreements even within the Democratic party, the $1.2 trillion bipartisan bill that Congress passed on Nov. 5 will now become law. This will direct $550 billion in new spending for roads, bridges, clean energy and other infrastructure items. A lot of new jobs will be created as well.
“My fellow Americans, today I want you to know we hear you and we see you,” said the president. “We’re taking a monumental step forward to build back better as a nation.”
