4:23Now Playing“BNC Live” host Tashanea Whitlow says the case of three white men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery will soon be in the hands of the jury, as the defense rested its case Thursday.
Kevin Gough, one of the attorneys for William “Roddie” Bryan has since requested a plea deal, which was swiftly denied by prosecutors. Arbery’s mother, Wanda Cooper-Jones, says given the evidence presented, she’s confident there will be justice for her son. Closing arguments in the trial will begin on Monday. Gough has also, once again, requested a mistrial following his “Black pastors” comments. BNC correspondent Dray Clark has all the latest outside the Brunswick courthouse.
