5:50Now PlayingNov. 20 will mark nine years since Dashad “Sage” Smith was last seen at an Amtrak train station in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Smith, who is a transgender woman, was 19 at the time. She was believed to be meeting with 29-year-old Erik McFadden.
Police wanted to question him, but in the months after Smith disappeared, he too went off the grid and was classified as a missing person.
Smith's disappearance was eventually classified as a homicide, but her body has never been found.
