Even with gas prices at an all-time high, AAA says holiday travel is back to pre-pandemic levels, with even airports seeing a surge in travel. She is joined by BNC correspondent Astrid Martinez, who says airports across major cities are already seeing a holiday rush. AAA says they screened around 2.2 million passengers on Friday alone, which is the highest it's been since early 2020. More than 53 million are expected to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday. The increase in traffic isn’t the only concern, as Monday is the final day for federal employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine, including TSA.
