8:06Now PlayingThe Federal Highway Administration has announced that it will distribute $52.5 billion in funding to all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The amount is the largest federal highway apportionment in decades and it will go towards improvements in roads, bridges and freeways with the goal of cutting down traffic deaths and serious injuries.

Community organizer Shawn Dunwoody joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss how the infrastructure bill can impact Black and Brown communities.
All this and more on “Black News Tonight.”
