0:48Now Playing“The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah sued a New York-based hospital for its “negligent and careless manner” while operating on him in 2020.
Noah also sued Dr. Riley Williams III, the orthopedic surgeon who performed the undisclosed operation gone wrong. Williams is a “shoulder, elbow and knee specialist.”
The lawsuit was filed in Supreme Court in Manhattan, which states Noah received care from the facility between “Aug. 25, 2020 through approximately Dec. 17, 2020” for “various medical conditions and other related treatment, including surgery which was performed on November 23, 2020.”
