2:05Now PlayingA new report out of California is shedding light on a concerning trend on the use-of-force by police against Black members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Additionally, it found there are still issues of bias in policing based on race, ethnicity and gender. It found that traffic stops were down in 2020, but that was likely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, it also discovered that Black and transgender people are still more likely to be searched and experience use-of-force by police more than other groups.
