Williams was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison in 1971. She was less than an ideal prisoner early on as she attempted to escape three times.
She overcame a drug problem and began mentoring young women, earning the nickname “Mama Glo.”
Fox and Rob Rich, two of Williams’ biggest advocates, join guest host Nayyera Haq on “Making the Case” to discuss.
All this and more on “Making the Case.”
