Former cabinet minister Khalid Omer Yousif and Wagdi Salih were both arrested earlier today as they are leaders within the “Forces of Freedom and Change Coalition,” the main organizer of the protests.
In Libya, incumbent prime minister Abdul Hamid al-Dbeibah escaped unharmed after an assassination attempt on his life, according to a government source there. Armed forces have increased their presence in the capital as political factions continue to debate who should control the country.
