But these are strange times and my April prediction is finally coming back full circle and xAI is making their comeback with a model that is neck and neck with GPT-5.5, beats Opus 4.8, and sits just below Fable 5, all at ~1/5 the price and far better token efficiency. It's the best of the previous generation and just that is insanely cool.
