In the Catholic Church, May 13 is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. After his recovery, Pope John Paul II reflected that there were two hands in play that day: one that pulled the trigger, and another that guided the bullet. That second hand, he said, was Our Lady of Fatima. This cassock is on display at the John Paul II Center near Krakow.
