The descent of Meaning/Logos into creation (Word made flesh) becomes definitive only in the second part of the movement – when creation ascends in communion with ultimate Meaning. The Incarnation of Meaning means that Meaning (the Logos) can be discovered in all things, in all of creation. Through death and resurrection (descent and ascent) Incarnate Meaning unites everything (universe means everything “turned into one”) and carries the entire created world into God’s eternity….
