as posted by the channel

Human beings are utterly unique in the entire created order! We are neither pure spirits nor merely animals. We are a unity of matter and spirit – a unity of body and soul.

Most people today think of themselves as spirits housed in bodies, from which they will be liberated at death. But this is not what it means to be Christian!

As Christians, we believe in the resurrection of the body. The separation of body and soul is utterly unnatural and is a result of the fall. In order to have an authentic Christian faith, we must orient ourselves towards the unity of body and soul which is inherent in God’s design.
