Art Bennett has a B.A. in philosophy and an M.A. in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University. He has co-authored six books with Laraine and is a licensed (California and Virginia) Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Bennett Consulting and Therapy, LLC. For ten years, he was President and CEO of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington; he was co-founder and Director of the Alpha Omega Clinics in Northern Virginia and Maryland for 8 years; and Vice President on international mental health with SAIC for 15 years.
Laraine Bennett has a B.A. in philosophy from Santa Clara University and an M.A. in philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She created the brand-new game, Know Thyself! The Game of Temperaments (Sophia Institute Press, 2022) and, in addition to the co-authored books above, has written two solo books, The Little Way of Living with Less: Learning to Let Go with the Little Flower (Sophia Institute Press, 2022) and A Year of Grace: 365 Reflections for Caregivers (OSV, 2014).
