The World Economic Forum's CBDC toolkit has outlined that XRP is Most relevant for wholesale CBDC and a Crypto‑asset designed for inter‑ or intrabank payments and settlements. This positions Ripple XRP to be the bridge asset for all CBDC's. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has been seen with folks from the IMF such as Christine Legarde and Ross Leckow as well as being at the World Economic Forum 2020 in Davos.
Ripple's Dilip Roa tweeted the following: "Regional interoperability of payments in APAC needs a cross-border, real-time liquidity solution: CBDCs will suffer the same fate as fiat currencies, so only a neutral bridge like XRP on a licensed/compliant network of FIs makes sense."
