Goldman Sach's Says Bitcoin Demand is Rising & Wants BTC ETF & Exploring Crypto Custody!

Goldman Sachs has been seeing more demand for bitcoin among its clients, according to its president and chief operating officer John Waldron. Kessler Collection, a luxury hotel group in the U.S., is now accepting cryptocurrencies for bookings through payment processor BitPay. Foundry, the cryptocurrency mining firm owned by Digital Currency Group (DCG), is opening its mining pool to additional institutional customers, emerging from a five-month beta phase during which the company has already grown into one of the industry’s largest players. Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has hired former U.S. senator and ambassador to China Maxwell Baucus as a government relations adviser. FalconX, a cryptocurrency exchange focused on institutional investors, has raised $50 million from Tiger Global and B Capital Group — highlighting once again that digital assets are becoming more mainstream. Jamaica is planning to launch a central bank digital currency (CBDC) in 2022.
