JPMorgan To Offer Bitcoin & Crypto To Clients & Venture Capitalists Invest $4 Billion in Crypto

JPMorgan greenlights wealth management advisors to take crypto fund orders which is a big change from when Jamie Dimon called Bitcoin a fraud. Grayscale's Barry Silbert weighed in on the news and tweeted "It's actually pretty funny that JPMorgan ended up being the first big bank to allow their retail wealth management clients to invest in the Grayscale family of funds"

The second quarter saw a record $4 billion in venture capital raised by cryptocurrency firms, amid a bumper crop of $30.8 billion in fintech deals generally, a 29% increase from the year before, according to business trend watcher CB Insights.

Texas regulators alleged on Thursday that BlockFi’s Interest Account (BIA) product is a security under state rules in the latest blow to the crypto lender’s business model.

NatWest has followed some of its U.K. banking peers in blocking debit and credit card payments to cryptocurrency exchange Binance, while Starling Bank CEO Anne Boden labeled some exchanges as dangerous.
