Day 1 - We are heading to the airport! First stop is Malmo, then Stockholm. With Trump's statement Sweden is on top of the news cycle. Many people are wondering if immigration and the acceptance of refugees has led to an increase in crime.
Many journalists are quick to cite statistics showing a general decrease in crime, however Swedish stats DO show an increase in sexual crimes and rape.
Is this because Sweden has widened the scope of its sex crimes laws? Or is it due to migrants? We are heading out to see if there is any truth to either statement.
