Today we went to the abandoned Elliniko airport and Olympic park. This large complex has been turned into a refugee camp, as I'm told somewhat unofficially and officially.
It was hard to know where the airport began and ended but after asking some of the refugees staying here we were able to get access inside.
Unfortunately UNHCR was unwilling to do an interview without notice but we were able to speak to some people and look at the old Olympic fields.
