Today I am drawing the line. It is time to make a distinction between liberals and the "alt left."
The alt left believes hate speech is not protected speech and often takes issues with journalism. They have issues with the 1st amendment in the US.
Liberals and left leaning people in the US do believe in free speech and a free press so it is important not to lump everyone into the same group.
