16:44Now PlayingDemocrats Move To Bypass Electoral College, This Is A HUGE Mistake. Maine is one of the latest states to join the National popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement among states to only give their electoral votes to the winner of the US popular vote.
The states enacting this deal however are all safe Democrat states. This means the only potential being created is the possibility for Republicans to win a blue state.
Democrats have repeatedly made excuses for their defeat to Donald Trump and blaming the electoral college is just another. Those arguing against the EC likely don't understand it's importance and how it protects people form the tyranny of the majority.
But it seems like these blue states will cut off their noses to spite their faces with a kneejerk reaction that can only help republicans in the long run.
