Leftists and Democrats activists immediately began demanding a boycott of Tucker Carlson's sponsors over the issue which is completely asinine.
Many TV personalities have opinions, often very wrong ones. This is clearly just a partisan attack on someone who is effective at pushing their message. While Tucker's comments are, in my opinion, wrong, it seems that the real reason many in media are outraged is simply tribal ragebait content
One journalist has already written how they miss the Trump days and compared writing about Trump to storming Omaha beach, which is absurd.
The desperate need for rage will keep the culture war rolling with or without trump.
