YouTube Description
as posted by the channelCan Sir Keir Starmer turn it round? Starmer’s message to those thinking of moving against him is simple — it can get worse. On the other side of the ledger he is trying to offer hope for the year again. That the economy can turn around, that the cost of living will fall, that people will feel better off.

Brexit is back. Starmer pledged to align Britain more closely with the single market, a move which is likely to be welcomed by many of those in his own ranks, although some will push for him to go further. The hope is that closer ties will bolster the economy.
But will it be enough? Labour, unlike the Tories, does not have regicide in its DNA. The party rules mean that 81 MPs have to coalesce around a single rival candidate, which is no easy feat given the tribal nature of the party. Starmer is also pushing the line that the local elections in May, along with the elections in Scotland and Wales, are not a “referendum” on his government.
