All music was arranged by myself using Cakewalk and free virtual instruments (mostly Spitfire LABS) in addition to a few personally recorded samples.
Between 2012, and 2017, Nintendo had a social media site called “Miiverse,” meant to accompany the 3ds and Wii U systems. If nothing else, if you've been on the site, you probably remember the heavy moderation and large presence of children. You probably haven't paid much attention to it, though. In the few mentions I've seen of Miiverse in the past few years, it has been described as a strange blurp in the history of video games and the internet; a weird concept that caused weird results. But to those of us who grew up alongside it, it was much more. This is the first part in the story of how a few Miiverse users (with similar motives), hacked the site. The next part will look more in-depth at the causes and consequences of these actions.
