I set rules for a reason: to help you trade more safely.
Today, I’m here with my student Mason and we’re discussing what happens when you choose to break my rules.
One of the biggest problems with most traders is greed. I’m constantly telling you not to chase home runs. Always take singles!
This is where Mason’s psychology was screwed up. He was stuck in a home-run mentality.
Just by breaking my rules, what could have been a five figure profit turned into a major loss.
After a loss, many traders go for the revenge trade. It's like a crime of passion. You block it out. You're just trading. You’re convinced you have to make the money back. You probably don’t even know what you’re trading.
It’s a rough mentality to get stuck in. Learn from Mason’s mistake. The stock market has no emotion — you shouldn’t either.
Don’t be greedy. Don’t chase home runs. Cut your losses quickly!
Do you agree that my rules help you trade safer? Have you ever made the same mistakes Mason did? What happened? Drop a comment below and let me know!
